You will have been sent the passwords in a letter but if you have lost them, ask Snowy Owl for them when you come to collect or deliver your daughter.

Brownies is the section of Girlguiding UK for girls aged seven and over. Although most Brownies move on to Guides after their tenth birthday they can, and often do, stay in Brownies until they are eleven if there is no suitable Guide unit for them to go to or if they are not yet ready to move to Guides.

Brownies is open to any girl in the correct age group providing there is a place for her; units have to abide by strict adult-child ratios to ensure that the girls get the best out of the unit as well as for safety reasons. She does not necessarily have to have been a Rainbow first.

Many Brownie Packs have waiting lists so if your daughter wants to join Brownies when she is seven you should contact your local Brown Owl well beforehand. The Girlguiding UK website will be able to put you in touch if you are outside our local area.

3rd Keyingham Brownies now (summer term 2009) has a full compelement of four Sixes and therefore has a waiting list : if you wish your daughter's name to be placed on the waiting list please . You can add her name even if she is not yet seven.
